Like most breweries, Anderby Brewing’s story begins with homebrewing. In 2014 Michell bought Preston a birthday present which was a learn to brew course offered by an area homebrew shop. That course led to a stove top setup producing 5 gallon batches. After about a year, it grew to 10-15 gallon batches on a rig on the driveway. By that point there was only one thing left to do, bring our passion to the masses and start a brewery.
The background of the Anderby Brewing team is varied. From hospitality to technology, chemistry and entrepreneurs, we are blending our experiences to bring great beer to our fans.
At Anderby Brewing, we brew what we love and want to share that love with our fans. Whether it’s through fun flavorings like our fruit and spice pale ales or through our use of regional grains for the majority of our malt bills, we want to bring an element of fun to all of our beers. We don’t take ourselves too seriously and want everyone to enjoy our laid back atmosphere.
